As a work related distraction I am modeling a chick in an shell. On Patreon I showed the progress, here I will place the finished image and the 3d model of the chick.

I made this using a base in blender, sculpted it completely in ZBrush and painted it there. UV-mapping is done in Blender and texture, displacement and normal map are made in ZBrush. In Photoshop I made additional spec map, a fatty layer map and a epidermis map for the skin material. Part of the feathers are made in Blender, but because my pc couldn’t handle it anymore, I did the rest of the feathers in Photoshop. The image is rendered in Cycles Blender.
